los-talgia is not a single artist. it's a collective memory.
formed by a small group of creators/artists from different generations, los-talgia blends the lived nostalgia of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s into one artistic voice. no names. no hierarchy. just shared cultural memory reframed as contemporary art.
Los-Talgia
los-talgia is not a single artist. it's a collective memory.
formed by a small group of creators/artists from different generations, los-talgia blends the lived nostalgia of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s into one artistic voice. no names. no hierarchy. just shared cultural memory reframed as contemporary art.
we grew up in different decades, with different screens, snacks, toys, songs, posters, and trends - but all with the same feeling: that the world moved quickly, and somewhere along the way, we left little pieces of ourselves behind.
los-talgia exists to bring those pieces back.
our artworks are portals - objects, icons, colours, textures, packaging, and technologies from the eras that shaped us. game consoles. vhs sleeves. cassette tape labels. discontinued snacks. products and packaging. early internet quirks. lost pop culture icons. the things you forgot you remembered… until you see them again.
we treat nostalgia not as a trend, but as a universal sense of belonging. a place in the mind you can revisit; a feeling that lives between the memory and the myth. not perfect, not polished - just real.
we call that place los-talgia.
our work is about capturing the collective memory of generations - those who grew up rewinding tapes with pencils, blowing dust from cartridges, recording mixtapes off the radio, saving pocket money for a vinyl record, wearing walkmans on the bus, racing home for dial-up internet, and living through the last age before everything went digital.
los-talgia celebrates what it felt like to grow up before the world changed.
we're not recreating the past exactly as it was - we're recreating how it felt. imperfect. iconic. faded. electric. lost… but not gone.
